IDPA as a sport is quite simply the use of practical equipment including full charge service ammunition to solve simulated “real world” self-defense scenarios. Shooters competing in IDPA events are required to use practical handguns and holsters that are truly suitable for self-defense use. No “competition only” equipment is permitted in IDPA matches since the main goal is to test the skill and ability of an individual, not his / her equipment or gamesmanship.

Club level IDPA matches run every Wednesday from 5:00pm – 9:00pm and are open to all members who have completed the IDPA Holster Qualification Course.

To participate in IDPA you must have taken the Intro to IDPA course. These courses run throughout the summer months with upcoming dates posted here. Courses run from 9:00am – 4:00pm (Finish time varies) with a break for lunch, which is provided.

Next Course Date – April 11th 2021 at 9:00am

Course cost – $120.00

Payment may be made by Electronic Transfer to eesaemt@gmail.com, or with a Credit Card by calling 226-927-8831.
